The Official College of Pharmacists of Jaén has held a meeting with the pharmacists assigned to the Linares Basic Health Zone. The meeting took place at «Los Jardines de La Virgen» and was attended by the board of directors and members from the region.

Prices, inspection and e-prescription

During the working session, several technical and regulatory matters were presented and discussed. Among them, the Notified Prices, developments in Pharmaceutical Inspection, progress in the Spanish Medicines Verification System (SEVeM) and the digital replacement of the precinto coupon. Other matters of health interest were also addressed. The event ended with a question-and-answer session in which attendees raised their doubts and concerns directly with the college representatives.

Support for members across the province

The president of the college institution, Juan Pedro Rísquez, has stated that these regional meetings serve to learn about the reality of the group. «We want all members, regardless of their location in the province, to feel the constant support of the institution and to have first-hand information,» Rísquez said. The president added that the sector is going through a period of regulatory changes in Andalucía and considered it necessary to maintain coordination to guarantee the pharmaceutical service to citizens.
