Shelter and toilets

The Coto shelter plans to open its doors between November 16 and 20. It has 18 places and a maximum stay of four nights for people who are in a regular situation and are looking for work. The resource offers accommodation, meals, laundry and attention from the Social Services area of the City Council. In addition, the toilets at the fairground will remain open during the campaign.

Mediation and procedures

The intercultural mediation service of Poblado Mundo will attend from 9:30 to 13:30 at the Casa de la Juventud and will also move to other points. This service will provide information and guidance both to seasonal workers and to agricultural employers, and will facilitate contact between job supply and demand. For its part, the Andalusian Employment Service (SAE) will attend to those who have the necessary documentation to carry out employment-related procedures.

In the health field, coordination between health centres and the hospital will be reinforced, and posters will be placed in several languages to facilitate communication and care for those who arrive in the municipality and need assistance. Cáritas and Cruz Roja will collaborate with the distribution of food, clothing, footwear, hygiene products and warm clothing. The Security Forces and Bodies will carry out preventive and surveillance work, with special attention to the identification of people and the prevention of possible labour irregularities.
