The Delegation of the Andalusian Government in Jaén concentrates on Thursday, October 22 an agenda of events in Santiago de la Espada, Jaén, Martos, Jamilena, Torredonjimeno, Linares, La Carolina and Bailén, with the opening of a social services meeting and the presentation of an artificial intelligence conference.
The Delegación del Gobierno de la Junta de Andalucía in Jaén spreads its activity this Thursday, October 22, across eight municipalities in the province, with events ranging from social services to artificial intelligence, sport and heritage.
Social services and AI congress
The day begins at 09.00 at the Auditorio Guadalquivir of the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Jaén (IFEJA), where the territorial delegate for Social Services, Families and Equality, Ángela Hidalgo, opens the eleventh Encuentro de Profesionales de los Servicios Sociales Comunitarios. In the afternoon, at 20.30, Hidalgo takes part in the final gala of the sixth edition of «Mentoring con M: Mujeres que inspiran», organised by ASEM Martos, at the IES Fernando III in Martos.
At 10.30, the territorial delegate for Employment, Enterprise and Self-Employment and for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Development and Public Administration, Javier Carazo, takes part in the presentation of the XXI Congreso de la Asociación española para la Inteligencia Artificial (CAEPIA 2026), which will be held in Jaén from November 10 to 13. The event will be at the Antigua Escuela de Magisterio, at calle Virgen de la Cabeza, 2. He then visits the Puntos Vuela in Jamilena, at 12.00, and in Torredonjimeno, at 13.00.

The delegate for Culture, Historical Heritage and Sport, José Ayala, takes part at 10.30 in the presentation of the Liga Híbrida Andalucía by RUSTER, at the Estadio Caja Rural La Victoria, on the Carretera de Granada in Jaén. In the afternoon, at 17.45, he attends the start of the Jornadas Europeas de Patrimonio 2026, dedicated to industrial heritage in the new settlements, at the Casa Museo Andrés Segovia in Linares.
In La Carolina, the delegate for Health, Lucía Mónica Pérez, and the delegate for Education, Francisco José Solano, attend at 11.00 the «Conduce tu futuro» programme at the IES Martín Halaja, aimed at young students to encourage responsible decisions at the wheel and prevent risky behaviour.
Music and entrepreneurship
The delegates for Tourism, Mario Martos, and for Culture, José Ayala, present at 12.30 at the Catedral de Jaén the concert «Francisco Guerrero, un genio en Jaén», which will be performed by the Coral Polifónica de la Basílica de San Juan de Dios de Granada.
At 13.30, the delegate for Economy, Finance and European Funds and for University, Javier Calvente, and the delegate for Education, Francisco José Solano, take part in the Hackaton Andalucía Emprende 2026 at the Biblioteca Municipal Baécula in Bailén.
