The eleven associations that applied will receive aid. The Alcalá la Real City Council has resolved the 2026 subsidy call for the Associations of Mothers and Fathers of Students (AMPAs) of the municipality's schools and its villages, with a budget of 12,000 euros.
What is funded
The money is allocated to projects and activities for the educational community: environmental education, emotional management and first aid workshops, family coexistence, educational celebrations, cultural visits and end-of-year trips. There are also proposals on bullying prevention, reading, healthy eating, children's self-esteem, use of social media and knowledge of the surroundings, as well as intergenerational and family participation initiatives.
How much each one receives
The maximum aid per association has been set at 1,000 euros, never exceeding the actual expense of each activity. Seven AMPAs receive that amount:
—Aben Jakán, from Colegio Martínez Montañés
—Antonio Arenas del Castillo, from Conservatorio Pep Ventura
—Carmen Juan Lovera, from CEIP Alonso de Alcalá
—Chupetín, from Escuela Infantil Nuestra Señora del Rosario
—El Coto, from CEIP José Garnica Salazar
—Río San Juan, from CPR Valle de San Juan
—Sajostán, from CPR Sierra Sur de Santa Ana
The rest receive these amounts: Al-Sikka, from CPR El Olivo de Ermita Nueva, 789.40 euros; Ciudad de Nubes, from CPR El Olivo de La Pedriza, 680 euros; María José Pérez, from CPR El Olivo de Mures, 999.80 euros; and Padre Villoslada, from SAFA, 999.99 euros.
How it is distributed
According to the City Council, the distribution was made in accordance with the call's criteria: the associations' operating expenses, the number of students enrolled at each school and the assessment of the projects submitted. The call, promoted by the Education department, received eleven applications, all accepted. The total requested amounted to 18,396.66 euros, so the amount granted covers around 56.91% of that sum.
The City Council states that with this call it maintains its support for the work of the mothers' and fathers' associations, whose participation helps complement the educational activity of the schools.
