The actor and comedian Álex O'Dogherty performs on Sunday, October 25 at the Teatro Infanta Leonor in Jaén with 'Palabras mayores', an improvisation and humour show within the 27th Festival de Otoño. Tickets are on sale at the box office and on the MPC Entradas website.
The Teatro Infanta Leonor in Jaén hosts on Sunday, October 25 the performance of the actor, musician and comedian Álex O'Dogherty, who presents his show 'Palabras mayores'. The performance is part of the Grandes Espectáculos cycle of the 27th Festival de Otoño de Jaén, which resumes after the Feria y Fiestas de San Lucas 2026.
A format without a script
As explained by the Ayuntamiento de Jaén, the production moves away from the traditional structure of the monologue to become an unpredictable experience. On stage there will be an interactive staging, a screen with animations and a «bastón-micro» with which the audience can take part in the show.
The show addresses matters such as his own burial, artificial intelligence, the speed of today's world and the so-called «shalalailos», people who take offence for no reason. All from the ironic and mordant point of view that characterises the comedian.
From 'Imbécil' to Jaén
The artist comes to Jaén after 'Imbécil', a show premiered in 2019 with which he gave 324 performances and toured the 50 provinces of Spain, including Ceuta and Melilla. He also took it to eight countries and drew more than 8,000 spectators, according to the data provided by the Ayuntamiento.
Tickets and box office
Tickets for the performance on Sunday, October 25 are on sale at the theatre box office and on the MPC Entradas website. The event listing in the JaénYa agenda brings together the place, time and price, and links to the same purchase button.
