Marian Jubilee Pilgrimage to the Virgen de la Cabeza

It is organized by the Real Cofradía Matriz de Andújar, with 75 delegations. On Tuesday the 23rd the first ones set out from Colomera, Alcalá la Real and Sabiote; the routes gradually add towns (Linares, Jaén, Martos, Baeza, Bailén, Arjona, Porcuna, Marmolejo, El Carpio, Baena…), they gather in Andújar on Saturday the 27th and in the early hours of Sunday the 28th they go up to the Sanctuary along the Camino Viejo.
Registration until November 15, 2026 on the website of the Cofradía Matriz, choosing the route and the departure town. Donation: 25 €, with accident insurance and pilgrim kit; does not include transport, meals or accommodation.
It is part of the Jubilee Year for the 800 years of the Apparition of the Virgen de la Cabeza (October 4, 2026 to December 8, 2027). All the dates, in the JaénYa special.
