The Jaén technology community XauenDevs celebrates a new edition of Pivo&Code, number 42, on Friday, October 23, at the Banco de España building. The session will focus on the impact of artificial intelligence on the future of software development.

A talk about work in the sector

Raúl Yegua will give the talk, in which he will address how artificial intelligence can transform the work of software development professionals, with the challenges and opportunities these tools pose for the sector. Pivo&Code is an initiative of XauenDevs conceived as a regular meeting point for programmers, developers, students and people interested in technology. They are monthly gatherings in a close and relaxed atmosphere where knowledge is shared, ideas are exchanged and professional contacts are made. Its sessions usually address programming, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and other current technology topics.

Collaboration with IMEFE

The event has the collaboration of the Instituto Municipal de Empleo y Formación Empresarial (IMEFE), which facilitates the holding of the activity at the Banco de España facilities. The councillor for Employment and IMEFE, Luis García Millán, has stated that this type of initiative brings areas such as business, engineering, technology and entrepreneurship closer to the public, and attracts audiences from outside. The councillor explained that IMEFE, in collaboration with the Fundación InnovaSur, makes the Banco de España facilities available and that the event is part of the Misión programme, developed together with the Junta de Andalucía and the Agencia Digital de Andalucía with funding from the Next Generation funds. Alberto Tejero, representative of XauenDevs, explained that Pivo&Code has maintained for several years its commitment to organising informal monthly meetings for the technology community. On this occasion, the activity marks the start of a new season and offers attendees the opportunity to learn about other professional experiences, share concerns and discuss the incorporation of artificial intelligence into software development.
