Mancha Real hosts the XXIV Youth Fair (Fejuve 2026) until Saturday, November 7, an event that brings together 50 stands and activities on training, entrepreneurship, music and sport. This year's slogan is "Two days, a thousand plans and everything to discover". The fair is held on Friday and Saturday, as detailed by the Diputación de Jaén. The deputy for Equality and Youth, María Dolores Ruiz, has stated that the event allows young people "to discover new opportunities, share experiences and show all the talent we have in our province". Ruiz explained that Fejuve "has become a meeting point for young people from all over our province" and encouraged the public to take part. The mayor of Mancha Real, María del Mar Dávila, and the territorial delegate for Housing, Youth and Land Planning and for Development and Mobility of the Junta in Jaén, Miguel Contreras, among other authorities, also took part in the opening ceremony.

An event with 24 years of history

The fair reaches its twenty-fourth edition, which consolidates it as one of the benchmark youth events in the province. The Diputación de Jaén maintains its support for this type of gathering and, in parallel, has opened other channels of support for young people in the municipalities. On November 2, the portal reported that the Diputación has increased to more than 435,000 euros the call for grants so that town councils with fewer than 20,000 inhabitants can hire a youth officer. The subsidy reaches almost 7,200 euros per council and the deadline to apply ends on November 9. A day earlier, on November 5, the portal reported that the full session of the Diputación unanimously approved seven million euros for employment and investment plans in the province's municipalities, with three million for the Municipal Employment Plan and four million for 28 localities that were left out of the EDIL European funds.

How to take part

The fair is held in Mancha Real on Friday and Saturday, November 7, with access to the 50 stands and the scheduled activities. Information on opening times and activities can be found through the Diputación de Jaén.
