The Museo Provincial de Jaén will host on the morning of Sunday, November 15 the performances of Águeda Saavedra and Juan Tomás de la Molía, within the initiative ‘Flamenco Expuesto’. It is one of the events of the ‘Noviembre Cultural’ programme, which brings together nearly a hundred activities in the region's regional government-owned cultural spaces, as detailed by the Regional Ministry of Culture, Historical Heritage and Sport. Flamenco has a special weight this year. On November 16 marks 75 years since the birth of José Monge Cruz ‘Camarón de la Isla’, and the Circuito Andaluz de Peñas, with the Confederación Andaluza de Peñas Flamencas, has organised a cycle of 16 performances, two per province, in as many flamenco peñas in Andalusia.

Music, exhibitions and heritage at the Museo de Jaén

On November 16, World Heritage Day, the Museo de Jaén offers a guided visit to the exhibition ‘La colección Blanco Caro y la arqueología española en Egipto’. On November 22 there will be a concert by the Coro Aída and the Coro y Orquesta Hadira Plecto, as well as music workshops for children and adults and the singer-songwriter cycle ‘A solas. Música y colecciones’. Those who come to the museum can also see ‘Espacio dedicado.
