The opening day is held at the cathedral of Jaén. At 16:45 the official opening takes place in the Sala Capitular. At 17:15, Mikel Garziandia Goñi speaks about the brotherhoods in the life of the Church; at 18:00, Álvaro Román addresses the pastoral value of popular religiosity; at 19:00, José Policarpo Cruz lectures on the iconography of the crucified Christ in Andalucía. At 20:00 the book «Nazarenos Blanquinegros. Historia de un Centenario (1926-2026)», by María Amparo López Arandia, is presented.
