The Local Police of Martos arrest a young man with a prison order outstanding for three years

Officers of the Local Police of Martos have arrested a 24-year-old young man, T. P. C., against whom a judicial search, arrest and imprisonment order had been issued by the Criminal Section of the Court of Instance of Jaén three years ago.
The arrest took place during the routine preventive public safety work that the Local Police carries out on the public streets of the municipality. A police unit spotted an individual who matched the description of a person wanted by the judicial authorities.
He tried to evade the officers
On noticing the police presence, the young man showed a suspicious attitude and tried to avoid the officers' action by giving false explanations about his identity and showing unofficial documents with no legal validity in order to mislead the officers.
Subsequent checks, carried out with the collaboration of the Guardia Civil of Martos, confirmed his identity and the validity of the judicial order, so the patrol proceeded immediately to arrest him.
Hiding in a house in the town
According to the preliminary investigations, the arrested man had allegedly remained hidden during this time inside a house in the town so as not to be located by the security forces, and had even allegedly altered his usual physical appearance. A lapse when he temporarily left his hiding place allowed him to be located and intercepted in the middle of a public street.
The detainee has been placed at the disposal of the courts together with the proceedings drawn up for the subsequent processing of his imprisonment in compliance with the order issued.
The Local Police of Martos states that with this intervention it maintains its collaboration with the Administration of Justice in enforcing the law.
